I'm telling u gmc Jimmy is a perfect rack. Also I swapped my crossbars out for wider ones. 48" for 54".

Re: Rangers With Camper Shells/Topper Thread
Now I want a rack, if my canopy didn't have all the ridges (and there weren't an overheight charge past 7' on the boats here) I'd be looking for one already. I'm still thinking of bolting bike fork mounts to the roof so I can carry my DH bike with the tires filled.
Does anyone have a canopy bolted right to the bed? I'm tired of the clamps spitting off mine and the canopy opening up and walking around on the rails, since it keeps the lock from working. Do they tear the rails? What size bolts do you use? I was thinking of 3/8" with a fender washer at each end, but I don't want to tear up my rails.

Way ahead of you. I got tired of the clamps being in my way. I put the eye hooks on there too for tie downs. And a fender washer on both sides. Been like that since.... Haha idk but it's been awhile.

Old, but still works and it has racks. Only thing I hate about it. It's ugly.

Dang! $10! I was thinking somewhere around thirty. I should go check out the yard sometime this week.
